Refund Policy

Effective September 19, 2026

14-day hardware compatibility guarantee

If Orthodatum cannot be installed or run because your hardware is incompatible, you may request a full refund of the software purchase within 14 calendar days. The window begins on the later of your purchase date or the date your purchased software is first made available to you for download. For pre-orders, the window does not expire while you are waiting for the software to be released.

How to request a refund

Email support@orthodatum.com within that window with your account email, order reference, a description of the problem, and your operating system and hardware specifications. We may ask for reasonable information to confirm the incompatibility. A request submitted within 14 days remains timely even if our review or troubleshooting takes longer. You do not need to complete troubleshooting before the window ends.

Do not send payment-card details, passwords, private documents or patient information. This guarantee covers the software purchase; it does not reimburse hardware purchases, repairs or other expenses, except where applicable law requires otherwise.

Other refund requests

Requests outside this guarantee, including other installation issues or duplicate purchases, are reviewed case by case. Issuing or activating a license key does not remove refund or cancellation rights provided by applicable law or Paddle's Buyer Terms.

Payment processing and your rights

For purchases processed by Paddle, Paddle is the merchant of record and handles payment refunds under its Buyer Terms and applicable law. You can also request billing assistance through the support link on your receipt or Paddle's buyer support.

Refunds are processed through the payment provider to the original payment method where supported. Processing time depends on the provider and your financial institution. A refunded license may be disabled. These terms do not exclude statutory rights, including any longer withdrawal period or remedies for defective or undelivered software.

Pre-orders and cancellations

Pre-orders do not provide an immediate download. The planned launch is November 1, 2026. Contact us if you want to cancel a pre-order or if availability changes. We will assess the request subject to the rights described above. Canceling an annual subscription stops future renewals; it does not by itself refund an earlier charge.
